Final Free Salsa Workshop at SNHU for the Fall
We had a fantastic time dancing with SNHU students in our final of a 3 part free workshop series. The students were fun and picked up salsa dancing really quickly. Here we are working on spotting and pivots for inside and outside turns.
We had a good turn out, and hope to return again to share salsa with more of SNHU's students. We'd like to do programs like this at several of the local colleges in and around Manchester. All of Salsa Sabor's members wish we had learned about salsa earlier. We hope by providing a free opportunity to try salsa in college we can introduce as many students as possible to the fun benifits of salsa dancing.
We were amazed at how much the SNHU students retained lesson to lesson and we followed a progressive program for these workshops. We reviewed all of the material as we progressed but continually added new material with each workshop.
Trying to figure out what to do for our end of workshop group picture.
We settled on this, a pyramid! Sadly a number of the students had to leave early and missed out on the end photo this week.
Clearly we had fun working with Southern New Hampshire University Students. We hope the students had fun and come out dancing with us on Wednesday nights at our Copacabana Salsa Night held at Jade Dragon on Elm St in Manchester
